Saffron Tribe

Though members of the troupe had been dancing together for some time, the name Saffron Tribe was adopted in February 2007 at Desert Carneval in Vienna. Saffron Tribe is engaged in American Tribal Style and also Tribal fusion style. They perform at festivals, parties, celebrations and other social events. You can reach us at saffrontribe@seznam.cz

The artistic leader - Stanislava Mužíková - studied at People’s Conservatory in Ústí nad Labem /tap dance, kinesiology and jazz dance/. For many years she was a leader of a modern dance troupe and she choreographed fashion shows. She teaches stage movement at the Conservatory in Teplice.

About six years ago she started to pursue oriental dance, attended workshops of Adla Čumpelíková, Jihan Jamal, Rena Milgrom, Sabuha Shanaz. Later, she decided for American Tribal style, which she studies with Bri Hurley. She is still enthusiastic to learn from other dancers, like Kajira Djoumahna, Kami Liddle, Rachel Soto and others.
